About the Founder

Chevon Forney is the founder of Career’d. She earned her B.S. degree from Winston-Salem State University and began her career as a Human Resource Development Instructor at one of North Carolina’s top community colleges. In this role, she helped train and develop individuals to secure employment, transition into new careers, and pursue their educational goals.

Chevon has worked with several of North Carolina’s leading community colleges and companies, training over 500 professionals in the job search and placement process. She has served in various roles, most recently freelancing as a career coach and teaching basic computer skills in her local community.

She specializes in helping individuals identify and leverage their skills, equipping them with the tools to effectively market themselves in today’s ever-changing job market.
